The 2024 School-Located Immunization Program will Provide Flu Vaccines in Schools

The School-Located Immunization Program for 2024 has concluded for the year. We look forward to working with our partners and families in 2025!

The School-Located Immunization Program in southeast Minnesota provides influenza (flu) vaccine to students in all schools in Olmsted County, Hayfield, Kasson-Mantorville, Triton schools in Dodge County, Pine Island schools in Olmsted and Goodhue Counties, most Mower County schools, and one Freeborn County school. The flu vaccine will be provided in those schools this fall for the 2024-2025 school year.

It is crucial for everyone, six months of age and older, to get the flu vaccine. Flu can cause serious problems in young children, older adults, and people with medical conditions. It could further reduce school attendance, parent work attendance, and lessen health care options.
