The 2026 School-Located Immunization Program will Provide Flu Vaccines in Schools

The School-Located Immunization Program in Minnesota provides influenza (flu) vaccine to students in all schools in Olmsted County, Hayfield, Kasson-Mantorville, Triton schools in Dodge County, Pine Island schools in Olmsted and Goodhue Counties, most Mower County schools, and some schools in Le Sueur and Waseca Counties. The flu vaccine will be provided in those schools this fall for the 2026-2027 school year.

It is important for everyone, six months of age and older, to get the flu vaccine. Flu can cause serious problems in young children, older adults, and people with medical conditions. It could further reduce school attendance, parent work attendance, and lessen health care options.
